According to the UT website, student section tickets are being sold to the general public because of spring break.

That sucks. The bleachers look really boring when a bunch of adults and kids are just sitting down watching the game. We need students standing up, making noise, and having an impact on home court advantage.

game likely to sellout with a decent walkup. bleachers won't have some of the regular vocal leaders but will still be lively for this one.

The "old folks" in our section do a pretty good job of getting loud. There are three ladies in front of me who get VERY animated.

We need noise, noise, and more noise! This is going to be a tough game.

The students in the north bleachers make a lot of noise. Students in the south bleachers are usually slumped over in their seats.

So what's the color theme for tonight? True blue, be bold wear gold, white out..?

So I heard where they announced 'Get your $6 bleacher seats for the last home game!'

Please say it ain't so. I heard countless complaints tonight from students not being able to get into their own damn student section. The University was making their own students sit way above no where near the action. It's the last home game, students actually want to come and participate in student section activities. Why are we giving their seats away to children, adults, and grandparents? It's called a student section for a reason! Every other college has one. Really not a fan of this for our last home game.

Maybe let the students have at least the north end zone bleachers and then have the $6 bleacher ticket people sit on the other end. This is a big game and we're going to need a lot of crowd noise from the student section.

I have a hard time believing there were that many students complaining about not getting into the bleacher seats. At the Ball State game, they were on campus and the seats were only a third full. Not being on campus, I bet there may have only been 100 students in the entire building. Kudo's to the athletic dept. putting butts in the seats.

There is such a small group willing to stand for our rockets down 10 with a few minutes left. I stood the entire game with my 3 friends there. But the students behind me weren't thrilled I was in their line of site.

In Cleveland we won't have many students sadly. Hopefully we can get 1-2k of die hards with a few more Cleveland regional Rocket fans.

I had the same problem. And until the student section is full of standing students, im not gonna feel bad sitting(standing) down there as alumni!
