What's the 'crowd' look like? Sounds kind of quiet.

Denver to go on a PP. First penalty for roughing.

DU has a good PP.

Getting outshot 22 - 12. Probably doesn't help that we're on the pk so often.

Down 1 - 0 after 2.

Miami beating UMD in Oxford 2 - 0 starting the 2nd.

Holy crap. UMD scores 2 quick ones to tie it up. Miami answers to lead 3 - 2. All in less than 5 minutes.

I no sooner finish typing this then UMD scores to tie it up. Defense optional in Oxford.

We have to lead the nation in those.

And there's the 3rd goal. Not surprising that the former CCHA teams are going to be sitting in the basement. WCHA refs used to call tighter games.

Sooner or later our guys will figure out how to play without giving the other team 6 PP opportunities. DU has 8 Fr. and is not getting whistled every few minutes.

The coaching has to take some responsibility in the amount of penalties, nothing seemed to change on that this year and the guys that take them do it over and over.

4-1. Pretty sure it's statistically impossible to make the final 16 without winning the conference now.

Truly disappointing effort.

Maybe we should do away with home games, since we can't seem to win any.

The officiating was an absolute disgrace tonight. Called very one way. The 5 min major was maybe a penalty....maybe. Not a major though. Denver did that same thing multiple times in the game and never even got whistled. The first few calls were very questionable too. Then you have the linesman being lazy and not getting out of the way and essentially providing a pick for their guy to get a breakaway which resulted in a penalty against us.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The officiating in this league is very much homer to the former WCHA teams. I've been to 8 games this season and seen it in every single game against a former WCHA team

It doesn't help at all when the fans boo the refs before the game even starts. Great way to get them on our side. It might be fun for the kids but the team gets screwed.
