Not a single home game for the month of September. We have a home game on 8/30 and then not another one until 10/11. Four straight away games during the prime time of the football season... Wow.

Yep, playing three OOC games on the road is not good.

And a bye week too. Ugh!!

Our programs are surviving financially on the road game guarantees of Florida and MSU and schools like Syracuse, Duke, and Kentucky on hoops.

Such is the way of life at EMU.

What an awful schedule. Five home games, two on holiday weekends. Homecoming isn't until October, I suppose October 4.

At least we got Akron and UMass. We won't be massacred in every MAC game...I guess that's a plus.

Dear Friends,
Let's not have so much pessimism. We haven't even played a game. Things to remember: Ball State, Northern Illinois, and I think Toledo will all have new quarterbacks. Central, Western will have almost new quarterbacks.
We don't know what is going to happen at Western with their coach going into his second year. Of course we can all say some of these things with our alma mater, especially with a brand new coach.
Scheduling, well that is the responsibility of the two that are no longer here. Gragg and English. They are the ones that set that up. If you look at other schools and their schedules, they sometimes have the same problem, but I do agree, I don't like schedules with wide expanses of time before a team plays at home.

We always seem to end with alot of home games during colder weather which doesn't do our attendance any good, not one home game during September is absurb.

We get burned playing all of those $ games on the road in September.

Hopefully next year will get a FCS + Old Dominion at home. That will help.
