Who does FAU think they can get? Jarvis may not be the best coach, but they could certainly do much worse than him.

Yes the fanbases of every major program who are even the slightest but disgruntled with their current coach are clamoring for Pearl, but his agent is pushing for FAU

As Jeff Foxworthy said "When your girlfriend says the two of you 'should see other people', you can bet she has already cut someone out of the herd". Few ADs are likely to be confident enough to "run it up the flagpole and see who salutes". Whether Pearl's agent has contacted FAU (or anyone else for that matter) is an unknown.

Bruce Pearl's agent has not contacted FAU. If FAU even attempted to contact him, he would laugh and hang up. This is the equivalent of thinking Bill Belichick would even listen the next time the UAB job is open.

The difference in both situations was that we COULD do better. I'm not sure FAU could.

My point exactly. Not just Tennessee but several other fan bases. Memphis lost last night, so their fans want to fire Pastner and hire Pearl. He has his choice of jobs. He ain't going to FAU. He can probably get a better job than Tennessee too.
