I wonder what the Daily Kos and Democratic Underground would say if Dick Cheney was hospitalized.

Oh wait, here is a nice sample:

I wish him pain and humiliation:
Stealing elections
Iraqi war
Trying to cut bennies from people dying of asbestos inhalation
stealing our money
outsource of jobs the army used to do i.e. cook, mail, set up camps
his hunting (I am a hunter too but ..... going to ranches where they
stock game ..... ******)

Pretty damn sad. Holder is a scumbag..but..not worthy of death wishes. They are reserved for the earth's worst. Evidently Fox Nation draws some real losers.

Not to excuse that behavior...and that's why I don't read those sites...but do they have a Statement of Purpose that says this?:

Quote:This is a place for people who believe we live in a great country, a welcoming refuge for legal immigrants who want to contribute their talents and abilities to make our way of life even greater. We believe we should enjoy the company and support of each other, delighting in the creativity, ingenuity, and work ethic of one and all, while observing the rules of civility and mutual respect and, most importantly, strengthening our diverse society by striving for unity.

Agree...however please remember this the next time one of the chief cons around here makes the statement that only democrats are vile pigs in this arena. Thanks.

RE: The Holy Right - Fox Nation Style
I watched Obama's 2009 inauguration in the midst of a group of liberals who did not know my political opinions.

Cheney appeared on TV in a wheelchair and immediately there were 3 or 4 open comments within the group wishing that he would die, plus 1 that Obama would shove the wheelchair down the stairs of the Capitol with Cheney still in it. These remarks were greeted with mild laughter and nodding-heads.

Like Hitch said -- gross people are just gross. It's not a D thing or an R thing.

People booed Bush at the 2009 inauguration which I thought was in poor taste. The man was willingly walking away from an immense amount of power out of reverence for the will of the people. Boo the man when he's not doing something extremely admirable. I expect the same when Obama leaves office in Jan 2017.
