My issue with Paula wasn't the N Bomb, but her recent glorification of slavery with her "Old South Wedding" with African Americans in all subservient roles.

Rick Perry continued to have his hunting camp named N*****head. I'm sorry, would you keep that as the name of your hunting camp? I certainly wouldn't.

Alec Baldwin has been fired from every media job he has held. People who support you politically do get a pass, because the total picture of their behavior towards the community is mixed. However, that pass isn't unlimited, and in Baldwin's case has been revoked.

The point isn't his personal political views, the point is that his (D) protects him from the type of criticism a conservative would receive.

The media's main issue with Deen was her dropping the n word back in the day, and Balwin may have been revoked or whatever, but nobody ever mentioned it.
