Congrats to Memphis. Y'all played harder than we did when it counted. These have been two great intense games this season. It really stinks that we might lose the series again. Hopefully we can face each other in the conference championship. Hopefully our AD's can work on keeping the rivalry alive. I'd like to see UofL continue to play Memphis in all sports. None-the-less, great win for the Tigers yesterday. Good luck the rest of the season and into the tournament.

Little known fact- Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart was band leader of "Jimmy Hart and the Gentrys"; the only 'white' band ever signed to the Stax label. Memphis fan and MTO poster Steve "Strat57" Fowler was a guitarist in that band...

One thing I liked about the Stax label, is that many of the bands were integrated (Cropper, Dunn, etc...). Right in the epicenter of racial tension back then.

I should look for some of Jimmy's music. You have me interested.

thats the original gentrys (of keep on dancin' fame). our boy jimmy is second row with his mouth open (of course). one of the great memphis rasslin' angles was a match where hart put his gold record for keep on dancin' on the line against lawler and naturally lost. lawer was then filmed throwing hart's treasured framed "gold record" off the desoto bridge into the mississippi river. brilliant stuff.

That would be surprising especially with Cincinnati bring a more desirable Football game then Memphis.

In the early 60s, wrestler Sputnik Monroe refused to wrestle at Ellis Auditorium in Memphis unless the seating was integrated--at the time there were black only and white only sections. Seating was then opened up to everyone.

When are Lousiville fans going to stop with the classy stuff, this Tiger team has no thugs, find some new material, damn it gets tiring. That great game and all you saw was the retaliation fo one guy and I would not call that a punch
