After a terrible start to the season, Tulsa moves into a 4 way tie for 1st in C-USA. If we win out we're guaranteed no lower than a 2nd seed, AND if UAB can pull an upset on La tech we would win the conference officially! Bringing some good basketball your way! Make sure to send positive vibes to us as we finish with UTSA at home and North Texas away. Also send that good juju to UAB just this once.

UAB beat UNC and ECU beat La Tech. It can happen. Bc it won't be EC I hope Tulsa does win. Better for the AAC.

Yes, we should & yes, we are. We finally got rid of the plague, Doug Wojcik, & now Danny Manning is slowly getting us back to where we were for most of the 1980-2003 era.
We have ONE senior (avg. 5 pts. a game) & ZERO juniors playing this season. Our rotation is almost all sophomores & a freshman.
We are up to #77 in Sagarin & have won 6 in a row after a very slow start. We weren't quite "ready for prime time" this season, but I think we may be next season.

Tulsa certainly has the ability to get back to being a very good basketball program. Hopefully them, Houston, and USF can get back to being NCAA contenders in a short period of time and Temple can get back to being Temple.

The CUSAsunbelt comments are getting a little tired.
Just about all of us have roots in CUSA and CUSA was a great conference for all of our schools. I dont understanding where the elitist attitude comes from.

Even though I'm a Connecticut elitist (), I don't mind it. Building rivalries in this new conference is a good thing. IMO the AAC board is also the best one on this entire site so I understand why you'd post CUSA/future AAC threads on here.
