Well good. I think this is a great move on Bailiff's part. Okam played for the Texans a couple years, iirc. Recruits want to hear from someone who was there at the big dance.

I am pretty sure he was also briefly with the Bucs.

Guys will definitely respect the fact that he was in the League. Great move.

If they don't respect his NFL experience, perhaps his stats - 6'5", 350 lbs - will bring him some respect.

nfl.com says he played 12 games with TB and 13 with the Texans.

Frank is exactly the kind of scholar-athlete that we want at Rice. He had something very close to a 4.0 at UT and was just as serious about his studies as his football. Extremely excited to have him on board.
