Is 3 million dollars of improvements "much needed" if the stadium itself was renovated 10 years ago? I've never been to Miami's baseball stadium, but it seems unnecessary. However, like I said, I've never been there so I could be dead wrong.

I've read that the costs for the project is being privately funded which is a relief. Ohio's new Walter Fieldhouse has already cost students over $800,000 this academic school year.

Wow 3MM of improvements on a 10 year old stadium? Hopefully it will be very nice when it's complete. UB is going to build an all new Stadium for 5 Million.

I envy Miami being able to give Oxford the "full package" of Football, Baseball, Hoops, and Hockey.... If UB could get to Hockey then maybe we could do that for Buffalo.

Although the stadium renovations were great and we have a beautiful baseball stadium, due to lack of funds (the first renovation was private donations as well) they didn't put in locker and coach's meeting rooms, etc. The players had to dress in old Withrow Court (the old gym now used for intramurals, etc) across the parking lot. This completes the package and is probably more about recruiting and improving the program than improving the stadium itself.

A few schools here making some impressive upgrades for their baseball programs. I think baseball and football stadium upgrades are the current topics of fundraising at NIU at this moment.

Thanks! I believe there is a push for KSU to host a NCAA Regional, but don't quote me on that.

I wish UT would move their baseball stadium to main campus and buld a nice stadium and clubhouse. I bet UT has one of the worst, if not the worst, stadiums in the MAC.

It now seems like a trend in the MAC to renovate your baseball facility. Toledo should hop aboard that train!

Some games are played there. Most are played in a retention basin with an infield.
