Every other school is full, unless a school is willing to drop a FBS opponent to take on a FCS school and doesn't already have a FCS school scheduled. Cincy & SMU fall into that category in-conference. Oklahoma has only FBS schools on their out of conference schedule.

Or one of the schools traveling to Hawaii chooses to play an extra game. Those are the only options at this point.

Of those schools, Washington and Utah St. are already maxed out at 13.

Oregon St. is less likely to take on a 13th game. They have only one open Saturday (10/11) and it is before a Thursday night game. Both UH and BYU are proving short rest can be done on 9/11 though.

Wyoming is open on 10/4. Nevada and UNLV on 9/20. What isn't known on their schedules is if any of those schools will have games moved around to Thursdays or Fridays.

All six schools also play in conferences with a championship game and the four schools currently playing 12 may want a bye week during the year.

I don't give a flying f*** about their band, but I guess it's making the best of a bad.....and avoidable.....situation. We played Bethune every year from 1981 until our last season as FBS in 1995. The 'Cats didn't play 1A teams back then, so we haven't seen them since.

We actually had these guys scheduled a couple years ago, arranged by our previous AD. O'Leary doesn't like 1-AA games, so he had both future games scrapped (the other one being Jax State) when the new AD came in. I bet Bethune has us by the nut sack with the guarantee, knowing our backs are against the wall. 03-banghead
