If we add two or three more top 100 RPI wins, by winning the MAC and rest of our schedule you bet your bottom Toledo will be on there at 27-5. Any team can be a sleeper really.

Heh, ESPN Bracketology has WMU as a 16th seed.

You're delusional. Toledo has no real at large resume. Nobody in the MAC does. Remember, too, you first have to beat WMU Saturday. Even if you win out, if you don't win the MAC tourney, no sleeper status.

If Toledo would have won every remaining game except the MACC, they would have had an at-large resume that should have been enough. The NIU loss will most likely force them to have to win the tourney now to get in.

The EMU loss did that if not the OU or WMU loss. Last night made no difference in that regard.

Interesting 3 way battle going on in the middle of the MAC this weekend.

6 seed- EMU (8-7)
7 seed- NIU (7-8)
8 seed- Miami (7-8)

NIU plays at EMU on Saturday. If the Huskies beat the Eagles and Miami wins its game all three teams will be tied at 8-8. However, since EMU has already lost to both NIU and Miami EMU would drop all the way to 8th place. 8th place is the last spot to host a home game for the first round. A loss by EMU opens the (slim) possibility of either BGSU or Kent St passing EMU.

...or if we win out, and Akron and Ohio lose 2 of their last 3, then we end up as the 4 seed. Don't leave that out of your "battle".

I never said at large resume since we lost to EMU or NIU. That photo is about sleepers in the tourney. Which we could very well be, if we even lose out and win the MACC?

TOURNAMENT SLEEPERS...not AT LARGES. What did Florida Gulf Coast do anything that had to do with getting an at large make them a sleeper to beat 3 teams in the NCAA tourney last year? Did you see how I didn't change our record to one more loss, meaning in my post that was us winning the MAC and being a sleeper.

We don't need sleepers. We need the better programs to wake up.

Definition of Sleeper: Outwardly common looking item, that possesses something special or unique inside.

That has nothing to do with waking up. Once MAC teams are in the tourney, most are taken lightly. That happens with most mid-majors in the first round. Toledo, WMU, Akron, NIU, anyone from this conference can be a sleeper in the NCAA's. Barring a 20 game win streak, opponents don't care who has "just woken up." An upset is an upset by seeding. The initial photo is who an analyst thinks has the best chance of making noise.
