About a 0.5% chance to start. Both Tucker Carter and Austin Robinson are solid QBs in line ahead of him.

That said, Bogie is a great athlete and an even better young man. Many of us are looking forward to him, but this is his year to get stronger and learn the system.

[EDIT] And regarding starter Tucker, I just want to add that I am confident in him, even though some fans have doubts. Like it or not, he's been the presumptive starter after Soza for 3 years now (Redshirt JR, JR, and upcoming SR) even in the face of seemingly superior talent (Zach Conque, transferred out). That's not for no reason and I trust our coaches.

Yeah I agree but think Tucker Carter will be the starter. If I had to put odds on it I would say 90%. Carter is a senior who is a proven winner in high school and JUCO football. He spent all learning offense behind Soza and even saw playing time late into games including leading a 70 yard TD drive vs Okie State. Coker and players love the guy and I feel he will be just fine behind a offensive line that has been playing together for 5 years. Carter may not be an acedemic all American/ leader like Soza but he without question has a stronger arm

Austin Robinson is the backup but I doubt he beats out Carter being a RS Freshman. I think he still needs time to learn the offense. Robinson is more of a dual threat QB from Houston but likely does not have the chops to be QB1.

Blake Bogenschulz will likely be redshirted in favor of being groomed for post 2014 action. Many call him Soza 2.0 because of his size and ability to scramble but "Boogie" has a great arm (Soza's weakness) The kids high school numbers are insane as he lead his team to a state championship. Pac12 teams came a knocking late but Blake has been all UTSA from the onset.

I think the biggest concern scouts will have with TH is arm strength.
