While I wouldn't draw too many comparisons between Stoops and Spurrier I would say that both prove to be extremely resourceful with their recruits. As Stoops builds his credentials in the SEC no doubt he will pull some blue chippers and like Spurrier I imagine he will recruit areas he already knows well. I look for the Cats to land some top prospects from Ohio, Dallas/Ft.Worth, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. I doubt he will ever be the interview that Spurrier is, or that he will be as fickle with quarterbacks, but their successes may well be compared. We'll see.

Stoops ability to recruit the state of Ohio will be key. The Kentucky staff did a tremendous job last season.

I'm interested to see how he does going forward at UK. I hope the Tennessee-Kentucky game can become a more high profile match up than it has the past few years.
