He's either too small, slow or short for anything else.
At this point I hope he doesn't even make the NFL. I'd rather see him get real playing time in Canada if he still chooses to pursue a football career.
If he makes the NFL he'll make more money. And he'll deserve to be there. I'm not optimistic either, at this point, but I'm hopeful.

Umm...no.
Ummmm.....Yeah! You take PT wherever you can get it nowadays. If it happens to be in the NFL (as anything BUT a QB) so be it. He doesn't need to be stubborn like another Superbowl commercial QB and NOT take what he can get. Get up there and get in a system with 5 (and sometimes 6) WR sets and get you some pro experience. Nobody said he has to stay up there but dont NOT take a chance to play professionally if you SUPPOSEDLY have the tools to do so. If JL has the opportunity, he needs to take his a$$ north of the border.

While I'd like Jordan to get as much cash as he can, I'd much rather see him play. He's not a NFL QB, and I fail to see what position he could switch to and make it. Even if he does switch to another position best case he's going to be 3rd/4th stringer or a special teamer on the field for five plays a game on a good day.
I'd much rather see him north of the border playing regularly then his practice squad highlights on the evening news.

NFL Practice Squad - $6,000 per week
NFL Minimum Salary - About $400,000
CFL Pay - $30,000 min $82k average .. Plus you have to live in Canada
I'd take the NFL and five plays a game to make $400,000

Why is it so important to you that he makes money? Is he going to share it with you? Are you his agent?

Wow take it easy. Why would you assume any of that? There is nothing in that post that gives an indication that Rak cares how much money JL makes. The information suggests that you're better off as an NFL practice squad player than a CFL player from a financial standpoint. Making an NFL roster, even as a special teams player, is much more lucrative than playing in the CFL.
But yeah...the more money JL makes the more likely it is that he has disposable income that he chooses to kick back to NIU. We should all be rooting for NIU alums to make more money regardless of their profession.

So he's better off playing in the United States as opposed to Canada and making much more money doing so...
Did anyone not know that? I just don't see the point of saying that.
Jordan Lynch is also better off winning the lottery as opposed to not winning it.

I'm willing to bet that about 99% of the people on this board, yourself included, had no idea what the minimum or average CFL salary are. Most people don't know what the NFL practice squad or minimum active roster salaries are. Not sure why you're so upset about a post that gave everyone some general financial information.

I assumed that because he replied to a bolded post with me answering why I would rather see him play in Canada with salary figures so I'm assuming that's why he wants to not see him in Canada. Jordan making whatever salary doesn't affect me in any way. For my selfish reasons of wanting to actually see him play that's why I want to see him in the CFL. He won't play in the NFL much if at all.
If he's talking about himself, then yeah of course any one would rather make more money and stay in their home country.

It was a poor post, deal with it.
Check your mailbox, maybe there's a check from Jordan in there.

Chances are if he doesn't make it in the NFL he'll be available in 2-3 years to go play in Canada, and still be young enough to be successful.

Holy crap guys! I've been away mostly - since it's not football season - and I come back to find everyone sniping at each other?

I wasn't even trying to be snippy. I was just wondering why he posted salary figures in response to my post and he wet the bed when I asked for an explanation.

We need Huskie football -- the real thing, not the speculation about it. Until then, we're bound to be a little on edge.

Very unlikely as he wrote it before the combine. Plus jimmie is training with clowney at the same place. Honestly, I think that guy is stupid for saying that. Every quote by an NIU coach was always on how well Ward was prepared.
Also with the senior bowl being a whole week of practice, you don't get named the top player at your position group if you don't prepare. So guy is a moron. He also said Ward lacked instincts and coverage, which are the two main reasons he is getting drafted high.
Bench press could have been higher, but Clinton Dix only got 11 and he's a first rounder. Heard in training Ward has been running 4.4 range

hahah I guarantee that whoever wrote that also had problems with NIU being in BCS discussion. Some grudges never die.

Which jimmie was excellent at, the orange bowl, he looked like he deserved a Seminole jersey.
