TEAM ESTABLISHES COACHES INTERVIEW POLICY FOR MEDIA

The Forum, TN. 02/24/14. In lieu of face-to-face interviews with the head basketball coach, the Sports Information Fellow provides the following game-game coaches response for quotation by local and national media:

1. Coach is a dear, dear friend and belongs in Hall of Fame, now!
2. Everyone is great, well coached, with great players - all rated ESPN Top 100.
3. AAC is, hands-down, best league in the country...deserves 10 NCAA Bids.
4. Winning is Hard: It's a players game...if players make plays, I'm a good coach.
5. Losses: They made baskets and we didn't, I'm a bad coach, haha.
6. The glass is half-full...if not, bottom line, we course correct, correct, correct.
7. Cussing is unacceptable...Dadgumit, Gee Fellas, and proper use of Hell, are OK.
8. Memphis fans best in America...also thanks to FBI, CIA, FD, PD, USA, Elvis.
9. Love the personal support from social media, msg bds, editor letters, a rain man.
10. I'm an in-game feel guy...but let me say, to miserables: "feel this".
11. Hold the press, my flip phones are ringing.

Media members are encouraged to mix and match the coaches statements in accordance with their agenda.

This is a little lame, IMHO.

12. Give a shout out to all first responders, the military, teachers, doctors, lawyers and indian chiefs.

This is more than lame. It just shows how some people have to much time on their hands and think they are funny.

Theses answers are more than what the local media deserves based on some of the questions they ask!
