First round bye doesn't really mean anything. The winners of the "1st" round play Cincinnati and Louisville in their next game. We still get UConn for a 3rd chance. Hopefully the guys do better this time!

Playing 3 games in 3 days instead of 4 in 4 days isn't nothing, but I get what you are saying I reckon.

Temple either shot wide open threes or layups. And to think, we blocked a ton of those layup attempts. It was too easy for them to score. It almost always was because they were beaten off the dribble on the perimeter.

Because they are playing below the 3 pt. line and leaving shooters to spot up, measure the 3 pt. line and bombs away. When they do go out on them they dish it off to guards cutting to the goal for a lay up. Austin was a force inside in the Temple game but times when he wasn't down the floor quickly enough they still shot lay ups on us. When he gets stronger next year with more stamina he's going to be one of the elite players in the country. Shaq got a couple of good blocks too. We need more of that to keep people from driving on us with impunity.
