Agreed. And it will only get better with the addition of WKU next season.

But one of UAB's games is against Rice, which will get them to 7 wins.
ODU and Tulane are reasonably close to having 6 and 7 locked - 1 win for each will do it.
ECU will probably get the bye and a good chance at #8 if they finish 3-0; I don't think they'll get a bye if they finish 2-1, because they'll lose tiebreakers to UNT and FAU, the other likely 6-10 teams (assuming they each win a game).
Yep. The only way UAB can jump Tulane/ODU is if we all finish tied (which ODU could win out, making this a moot point). Right now ODU is in the drivers' seat, with 3 winnable games remaining and the head-to-head tiebreaker over Tulane. Unless Tulane loses out or UAB wins out, the likely finish in the middle of the league is:
6) ODU
7) Tulane
8) UAB
9) Charlotte
Now don't ask me what's going to happen at the top! But now that we're back to playing well, we have a better chance to help out our Miner and Golden Eagle friends.
IMO 6-9 is still up for grabs. Charlotte, ECU, Marshall and ODU all play each other. Here is UAB's and Tulane's remaining schedule:
UAB - @Rice, LTU and MTSU.
Tulane - FAU, @FIU and USM
If ECU wins the next 3 and UAB goes 1-2 then ECU has the tiebreaker.
I just don't see how ECU figures better than 8, even in that scenario. You'd need Tulane and ODU to lose out and somehow win the 4 way tiebreaker between UAB, ODU and Tulane, which I don't think you would. ECU will get a bye at 3-0, as per my post above, but probably at #8.

It will be resolved in the next few days. I am pretty sure that the Charlotte players are going to play out of their skulls on Thursday night, so it won't matter anyway. Fwiw, I think that ODU might drop a couple of games, and Tulane (FIU and USM) and UAB (LTU and MTSU) are likely to drop a couple of their next few games, so we will see.

In your opinion, but Palm has 6 A10 teams in his bracketology and Lunardi has 5.
We're going to get 1 and the A10 is going to get a minimum of five unless one of the top 6 teams goes winless from now until the end of the season.

A10 deserves three...SLU, UMass, VCu. St. Joe's a likely choice (unless they meltdown in the last 2 weeks). Richmond needs help. So I can see them getting 4. Richmond could take away st. Joe's slot if they win the A10 tourney.
The A10 has 5 Top 50 wins. C-USA has 8. The A10 has 12 Top 100 wins. C-USA has 15. How does the A10 deserve five before C-USA deserves two?

A10 has an establishment bias even though I'd say A10 and CUSA are on about equal footing.

What are you looking at?
The A10 has 26 wins against the top 50....unless you only mean OOC. I didn't count it that way.

The A10 also has teams at the top that schedule better and don't lose to the bad teams they should beat.

Yeah. OOC. I'm not counting league games between teams in the Top 50 (Top 100) as those are a guaranteed win and a guaranteed loss. I'm sure the A10 has a lot more Top 50 losses than C-USA when counting league games.

But is that enough to warrant six before C-USA gets two?
Warren Nolan is the only bracketologist that I've seen who has the A10 with six who also gives C-USA two. I can't justify a sixth A10 team without first justifying a second C-USA team.

RE: 5 teams fighting for 1st place
I think ODU wins Marshall and ECU. Both at home and definitely winnable. Very concerned with @Charlotte though. They're such a weird team, they will either do well or horrible, but they have it at home so I've got that marked at a L. That gets us to 9-7 conference and 15-16 overall. Not too bad all things considered.
