Well, I was wrong, but I'm happy to be wrong in this case.

I said make our free throws and we win. We didnt. We left at least 16 points on the board and still won.

MB how many times have we missed at least 16fts and still won?

16 out of 32 for 50%

For our non-math major, hitting 8 more free throws would give us 75% for the game & 8 additional points in the game.

What would our score have been if we'd scored 8 more points?

Several of the missed FTs were front ends of 1 and 1 so it actually cost us more than the recorded total. We still won but we definitely could create more separation with better FT shooting.
