College officiating
This last month or so of the season refs have just been so inconsistent in the east the game is called. For five minutes they will let everything go and then the next they call it tight.
It makes it out so hard for teams to get into any rhythm. All I ask for is consistency from officials.
Case in point Hancock for Louisville fouled out with little contract and yet most of the game they let a lot of physical play go.

RE: College officiating
Refs have ruined college BB. Two things really get my goat:
- a big man can hardly ever pump fake / head fake / ball fake if he's not right under the basket without getting called for traveling, whether he actually moves his feet or not. They just automatically blow the whistle.
- a guard can drive into a big who is standing still with his arms straight up and shoot into the big's arms, creating contact, and the big will get called for the foul nearly every time. (Yes, I know there are many instances where the big actually does reach forward or is moving, but I'm not talking about those. A big can hardly make a "great defensive play" because they whistle everything.)

My peeve is the foul in the act of shooting the 3. We do it a lot by the way. It should be called every time or not at all.

My peeve is the ref calling everything on Memphis....and nothing on UConn!

RE: College officiating
Considering all that is on the line one would think job performance (refs) would be of the highest concern for the NCAA. One would think. NCAA is much like a government bureaucracy that answers to no one.
