We have a couple of really good starters; and we had a solid recruiting class. Not elite, but very good.

thanks for rubbing our nose in it

YOu call that rubbing your nose in it? I didn't say anything about Tech or clobbering Tech - just said we're a good team.
Good gracious.

Interesting that we've already got a conference series in progress.

Tulane has been scheduled to play in a tournament in San Francisco (Giants ballpark) for 3 years now. It just so happens that it falls on CUSA opening weekend. That is why the CUSA office scheduled this series so early.

Our program needs a new coaching staff in the worst way. I really like our stadium and it should be pretty easy to recruit with that and CUSA. If Sim doesn't have a great year then he will finally be history.

not really, it's just the old administration (Reneau & Van De Velde) didn't care

Navari was a stud yesterday… Does Tech have two other pitchers better than him?

No, that's just Simoneaux being Simoneaux. He would probably move Maton to pitch Saturday games and throw staff against the other team's Friday starter instead of moving Navari to work on Saturdays.

Same reasoning why he has batters swing on the 3-0 pitch during an intentional walk. Same reasoning why with 1st and 3rd and 2 outs count on him sending the runner to steal second to try and steal a run. He'll get a runner thrown out at the plate 19 times out of 20 just to steal a run one time.
