On the post game radio show last night when they went over the stats they said he played and missed a shot. Anybody else hear that?

How many times have we been through disciplinary situations being second guessed?

Usually if you know the whole story, it makes sense not to have aired all the details.

But instead, it's probably better to assume that the discipline is wrong. Right?

attacked? Come on the guy was pretty big and he was pushed. Don't make it out to look like Smart did bodly harm to him

Attacked is usually a hospital stay or at least a visit.
I think what happened was an altercation. Just saying......

Any action that carries the threat of bodily harm is by definition an assault. "Attack" may be a strong word in this instant, but they should have set a precedent in dealing with any physical contact a player makes with a fan, no matter what the provocation is.

And by the way, that Texas Tech dude was a complete dirtbag FWIW.

My disagreement had nothing to do with the Smart comparison. It was the insinuation that Dom was suspended for simply cussing. There's more to it than that.

If it was more than that then why say it was the reason in the official response?

Why not just say it is an internal/team matter and leave it at that?
