02-13-banana There was another thread on this subject that was on Feb. 14th. It was stated that JP said if a few windsprints at practice did not change anything then more discipline was called for. That is not an exact quote but a summary.

My disagreement had nothing to do with the Smart comparison. It was the insinuation that Dom was suspended for simply cussing. There's more to it than that.

If it was more than that then why say it was the reason in the official response?

Why not just say it is an internal/team matter and leave it at that?

Actually, CJP has been quoted on several occasions in the paper on this. It's rather obvious that there's more to it than simply cussing.

By the way, one of the quotes in today's paper gives a little more insight into what CJP is hoping to accomplish with this suspension.

"I believe in Dom's future. I think he's got a chance to be really good. But he can't achieve the level that I want him to achieve if he's not right mentally, and that's what we've gotta try to keep working on."
