Not taking anything from USM, because I was saying it while UTEP was up by double-digits. But the officiating in this league cannot continue to be this bad. Game after game, it's been horrible.

you should not be able to official unless you've played at that level. I'm sorry, but there is a reason you didn't play high school varsity.... BECAUSE YOU SUCKED

I don't care if they were college All-Americans or bench warmers on their high school JV team or president of the glee club, the refs simply have to get better. On Thursday night, it's football on the hardwood. On Saturday night, there's a foul on every possession and both teams on in the bonus before the first TV time out. They call a hand check on the perimeter that didn't have any effect on the flow of the play and 10 seconds later, the ball goes into the post, the player gets murdered, and nothing is called. Then, on the next possession, the defender is vertical, the offensive player jumps into him and it's a foul.

I don't think being a former college player is the issue. The issue is that these guys just can't continue to suck as much as they do.

I fully agree there, the officials are a lot of things, but consistant isn't one of them.

...actually, they are consistent with the perimeter calls,,,,it's the ones in/around the paint that you wonder about.....

Hey Stink... how much were you in Floyd's ear and were you the reason for USM's win? If so, I want you to stay home at tournament time. 04-cheers
