I'm satisfied. It's tough on my heart, but I'm satisfied.

Sweet Sixteen and my blood pressure will be a little better.

The day after crushing the Russians in the Battle of Tsushima, Japanese Admiral Togo ordered his fleet into full scale training and drills. Given that he had just massacred Japan's only enemy at the time, his staff asked him why he was doing this.

"Samurai", he answered. "After a victory, sharpen your sword."

He did not, however, say "Samurai, after a victory, act like you lost and engage in endless self-flagellation."

Play hard each game. That's all I ask. They do that about 2/3 of the time.

20 National Titles in the next 20 NCAA Tournaments would satisfy me for a weekend or so I guess.

hell of a concept.

What is hard to comprehend is that we have had a few games where we have played very well defensively. (Okie State Round 2).

And after a defeat, did they ***** about the refs or chalk up a "moral" victory?

RE: What will it take from this team
This year with this team probably 25 regular season wins, make it to the AAC tournament final (on our own home court), get to the NCAA sweet 16.

Right now, I've seen too much of the 3-4 guard lineups, lack of defensive intensity / consistency, and lack of playing time and development of King, Iverson, Wilson.

When we have accomplished what those 2 schools have accomplished then there will be plenty of margin for error. But until then Josh and his style are going to get a lump or 2 and those lumps, as well as some praise, are earned.
