3pt % before and after Frank
Just in cast anyone wanted to know or this has not been posted.

With Frank:

61/216 for 28.24%

After Frank

76/194 for 39.18%

I am sure we would have improved either way but that is a drastic difference.

What was the 3 point percentage - same players - under Frank the *prior* two years? Anyone?

We also would have to know how much of the stair climber or other leg work implemented into the team workout under Frank the *prior* two years since all we know from sources per Jason Smith that Josh was telling Frank that their legs were tired from doing too much legwork and it was affecting the teams 3 point shooting. I'm not accusing Frank but just saying that if we could find that out and I doubt we ever will, there might be something to it

Right --- are the conditions same or different, are the players all the same (chemistry), is the level of competition the same, in short what are we really looking at when we look at raw stats like this. Until there's more it's just pretty meaningless numbers as far as I can tell --

Thing is this season we have only 1 single guard on the bench to sub for all/any of the 3 guards on the court at all times. Joe gets little or zero rest but is expected to carry the team in crunch time every game. Frank’s fault? Frank was here last year.

Just say’n.

I think JJ played a little less this year
CC played a little more
Geron played a little less.

Joe in 2013-14: 32.3MPG
Joe in 2012-13: 32.6MPG

Chris in 2013-14: 28.8MPG
Chris in 2012-13: 27.3 MPG

Geron in 2013-14: 27.8MPG
Geron in 2012-13: 28.8MPG

Michael in 2013-14: 22.8MPG
Antonio in 2012-13: 16.7MPG

Wow, look, we only had one real guard coming off the bench last season, too, and Joe's minutes have gone DOWN. Geron's and Chris's minutes have basically switched and Michael is giving us more minutes than Antonio did last season.

Next.

We had Adonis last year playing the 3 spot. Plus Antonio got hurt.

Re: 3pt % before and after Frank
The point was that despite what Beale St claimed the guards aren't playing more minutes than last season.

Evidently Adonis must have played a lot at the 4 spot.

I blame this on the abundant amounts of kale and quinoa that Frank was forcing down their throats. Chings is a miracle food.

You’re missing the point. If we played 2 guards last season and are now playing 3 ALL of the time how can you even think their minutes are the same? Playing an extra guard should make a light bulb go off but you’re only looking at seasonal stats and not what is really happening. The season is far from over.

#1 We are not in CUSA anymore and the games in conference are harder.

#2 Adonis started every game at the 3 and now a guard has taken that position.

#3 We had DJ last year and he covered for the guards with his blocking ability.

Since I mentioned Joe I’ll review him in key games. He is averaging 32.3 min per game (which includes all games).

36 min vs OSU I
38 min vs LSU
36 min vs OSU II
40 min vs Florida
37 min vs UCF
37 min vs Louisville
37 min vs SMU
39 min vs Gonzaga
43 min vs UCONN II (5 min overtime)

It’s not just Joe as Chris & Geron are playing more minutes in some of these games. Dix is the reliever and he saved us Thursday night. Fresher legs? IDK. Last season Joe shot 51.9 from the field including 44.7 from 3. Frank?

He was here last season but not anymore.

Beale St I just showed where the guards' minutes aren't different than last season and you tell me I am wrong. Wow.

That is a sweet quote that I never heard, but is so true! I'm gonna steal it from you (which is what most successful people do). LOL
