Wow?

You’re attempting to compare last season’s average with this season. That is inaccurate because this season isn’t over yet (26 games vs 36).This is why I didn’t use those stats. We are also in crunch time when all of our starters will probably play more minutes than normal unless it’s a blowout.

Another thing to consider is 3-5 minutes of rest breaks may not look like much but it can make all the difference in a player being fresh or fatigued down the stretch.

That is a sweet quote that I never heard, but is so true! I'm gonna steal it from you (which is what most successful people do). LOL

Joe gets little or zero rest but is expected to carry the team in crunch time every game. Frank’s fault? Frank was here last year.

Just say’n.

Always nice to know that the truth is the exact opposite of what you post every single time...especially the part about Tarik Black becoming a superstar at Kansas, because Bill Self wouldn't be holding him back, and they had guards that could get him the ball.

Quit spinning Beale St. You claimed the guards are playing more minutes than last season. So far the numbers show that they are not.
Yep. We had Adonis at the 3 last season. You were likely one of the ones bitching about it, too.

Bitching about Adonis at the 3? 03-confused Now that’s rich.

Don’t blame me if you refuse to see that your comparison is flawed, that’s on you. I guess you can tell us all now what our final season’s record is before we’ve finished it.

I told you down the stretch they were going to increase their minutes. In our first game against Temple Geron & Dixon played about their average but Joe played 37 minutes (5 more than avg) and Chris played 36 minutes (7 more than avg).

Last night Joe & Chris both played 42 minutes out of a possible 45.

And this was against the bottom feeder in the AAC.

Not sure there is enough data their come to any conclusion. Too many variables. None the less there is nothing wrong with posting this and noting the differences.

OK. I'm wrong. The guys are playing more minutes this season even thought they aren't.

Seriously, I'm failing to see the comparison? AT THIS POINT IN THE SEASON the guards aren't averaging more minutes per game than they averaged last season. No matter how you try to spin it .

You want to compare apples to apples? Fine

2-23-13 : Memphis vs Southern Miss
Joe Jackson- 36 minutes
Geron Johnson- 34 minutes
Chris Crawford- 29 minutes

2-20-13: Memphis vs Houston
Joe Jackson- 30 minutes
Chris Crawford- 26 minutes
Geron Johnson-34 minutes

2-16-13: Memphis vs Marshall
Joe- 30 minutes
Geron- 30 minutes
Chris- 27 minutes

2-13-13: Memphis vs UCF
Joe- 33 minutes
Geron-35 minutes
Chris - 21 minutes

2-9-13 Memphis vs USM
Joe-36 minutes
Geron-39 minutes
Chris- 30 minutes

So, this time last year they were getting the same minutes they are now.
