Great win for the Lady Rockets! I really can't believe they're in 2nd place in the West. Despite us not having a very strong season like in the past few years, we're actually still having a good year.

I've changed my original plan and decided that I'm channeling Russell and Cowens and starting myself at the 4.

Did anyone else think Sophia should have played more? In 5 mins she had three rebounds and no turnovers and a great post move to go 1/1.

Yes, I wondered about that, too. Reecher is actually developing a bit of a low post game. When Cullop is reluctant to play someone who seems to merit playing time, I always assume it's defense. With Recker back the last couple games, we have experimented more with playing without a center.

The team is developing nicely as the season wears on and the EMU win was a very big one that extended the winning streak to 4 straight. Of the 5 remaining games, 4 can go either way but are certainly winnable----of course CMU is winnable as well but it would require a very major upset much as having defeated BG would have been.

I have said all along that this team should be judged by how they are playing at the end of the season and how much improvement they have shown over the course of the season. Right now they are in a good position to end up with a winning season and win a game (or two?) in the MAC Tournament. If they are able to finish strong and do all that, I think that it will have been a very successful season.
