yard waste drop-off
I've got some yard waste (small branches, bagged leaves, etc.) that I want to get off my curb before my next garbage pickup day.

Assuming I can throw it all in the back of a truck, is there a place in town where I can drop it off?

You ask this on a Non-Tiger Related Sports message board??? (You might try the Charle's Harris People's board.)

My advice (depending on which city and state you live in): pull out a phone book and look up Public Works for your city. ...Or try the Internet. I bet your city has a website with specifics on where you can haul yard waste at a public landfill. Here in Nashville, they may charge a fee depending if your load exceeds a certain limit.

I'd call the city (901) 576-6851, Ext 1, I know a one point they were using the Rodney Barber Park located at 2215 James Road as a place to drop off bagged leaves and such, not sure if they are still doing that.
