RE: Head scratcher
He was injured and on rehab. sounds like he is not coming back after rehab. Going to Sam Houston to me means he has found himself deep in the depth chart at UC. Good luck to him.

He was starting at the beginning of the season...there's got to be something else there. He reportedly left the program this season.

He hasn't been a member of the team since around early November or so.

Does CB have a deep depth chart?

Best of luck to him.

CB is lacking right now, which is why some of those WR recruits are likely to switch to the other side.

That is a strange move. I always liked that kid and thought he had some really potential.

Both Butch and Tubbs remarked about his ability.

That's a hit. I liked Orr. CB is looking thin right now. Need someone to really step up opposite wilder. Likely Levi Payne I'd imagine. Walk-on Grant Coleman logged several minutes last year as well. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the freshmen (Pinckney or Spencer) saw quality minutes.

Is Andre Jones going to be moved to corner? Foster isn't quick enough and we don't really have many other options. Right now the only true CB's on scholarship (including c/o '14 recruits) are Wilder, Payne, Aaron Brown, and Linden Stephens. We have three walk-ons in Drake Bruns, Grant Coleman, and Dylan Coombs, and three incoming players who have experience at the position but were recruited as athletes in JJ Pinckney, Alex Thomas, and Odell Spencer. Lack of experience is an incredible understatement right now...especially in a league with pass-happy teams like SMU, ECU, and Tulsa.

Is cornerback going to be the weak spot next year?

CB and QB have been the big questions for a lot of us since the off-season started. I think Guard is the only other area that we've really got big question marks at, but DT could be interesting this coming season.

Agreed. I am worried about CB...heck I'm also worried about DT, QB and OL. The 2 deep at those positions is as thin as it has been in a long time. Definitely in terms of experience.

LOL, so in other words, other than our offensive line, defensive line, defensive backfield, and quarterback, we should be in good shape. 04-jawdrop

You're not helping my typical optimism. It's the off-season, I'm just going to lie to myself so I can spend the summer in ignorant bliss.

Yeah...I had not thought much about it until just now. That is a lot of position groups, isn't it? We probably need a lot of new faces to step up on the 2 deep and perform at a high level.

Foster is coming off a season-ending knee injury and surgery. Not sure he had the skill package to play corner anyway. Rod Moore could still be a factor at CB. Wouldn't be surprised if we see one of the remaining scholarships used on a JUCO cornerback before it's all said and done.

On the flip side, the runningbacks, linebackers, and wide receivers are all stacked. And we have a former all american at QB. Along with a solid TE group. If the O line steps up, we can be pretty good

RE: Head scratcher
Not sure how much of a hit this is. He was ably replaced last year. It's not as tho his contributions can be missed when he had only contributed so little to date.
