No to trouble makers, which means you Manziel... Of those three, I'll take Bridgewater
Although I still believe we need to trade for multiple drafts picks.

This doesn't help Manziel as well:
"Suspect intangibles -- not a leader by example or known to inspire by his words. Carries a sense of entitlement and prima-donna arrogance seeking out the bright lights of Hollywood. Is known to party too much and is drawn to all the trappings of the game. ... Has defied the odds and proven to be a great college-system quarterback, but still must prove he is willing to work to be great, adjust his hard-partying, Hollywood lifestyle and be able to inspire his teammates by more than his playmaking ability."
Nawrocki also had interesting things to say about South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney ("Is still immature and finding his way -- too much of a follower.") and Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla ("Overly emotional and prone to outbursts following a dysfunctional childhood that offered little direction and much confusion related to a divorce."

Manziel is not throwing at the NFL Combine...he is not throwing at the Texas A&M Pro Day...he is having his own "Private Pro Day"....not giving exposure to his teammates.
Both Bridgewater and Bortles are competing at the NFL Combine...both at throwing at their Pro Days...the Texan if they go QB can't go wrong with either Bortles or Bridgewater...the 1st and 2nd Team All AAC QB and Two sure fire Top 5 NFL Picks...

It's smart of Manziel not to throw at the combine. Manziel has a Heisman, big SEC victories, numerous SC top 10 plays, he's got this legendary aura around him. You stand him next to Bortles or Bridgewater and that aura fades. You put him on the same field, in the same conditions, and it will be apparent he doesn't have the same velocity or accuracy on his ball.
Pro days, combines, etc can only hurt his stock.

Truth of the matter....actually it will especially not throwing at the A&M Pro Day and just having a "Private Pro Day"...if it matter then Tim Tebow would still be in the league and nobody did what he did in the SEC.
Also, the NFL could careless about what someone did in the SEC or individual awards...it is about projecting to the Sunday League...him not doing this does raise the question of entitlement and also what is he afraid of.
Also, neither Bridgewater or Bortles didn't shoot off at the mouth about if Houston passed on him....Derek Carr is also not throwing at the Combine but at least he went through the Senior Bowl and he is throwing at the Fresno State a Pro Day.

Tebow went 17th Overall and in the end got Josh McDaniel fired for reaching...also, Tebow did compete at the NFL Combine.

I think Bridgewater is throwing...Bortles is for certain and I give him major props for that...Carr isn't but he did go through the Senior Bowl and is throwing at his school Pro Day...Manziel isn't throwing at the Combine or A&M Pro Day...having his own personal Pro Day...not good especially with the entitlement rap on him.

Almost no one is saying Bridgewater to Houston anymore. I said it from the beginning, but was written off as a UL hater. Whatever.

At this point if I had to guess, I think it'll be Clowney or Manziel, even though I'm not really a fan of either. I'd prefer Jake Matthews. If we picked a QB, I'd prefer Bortles.

It probably going to be Bortles if it is a QB...for the simple reason O'Brien has a better insight with him and he fits O'Brien system better.... also both Mayock and Gannon pretty much stated yesterday if Houston still had Kubiack as coach it would have been Bridgewater for the simple fact he fit that offense better....my guess since Kyle Shanahan is running the Browns offense it is As for Matthews it looks like Robinson at Auburn has jumped him at OT.
Mayock has Bridgewater as his #1 QB and Bortles #3...as a Houston fan you better hope they don't take Manziel or even Clowney...word is some teams have taken him off their board...
Now I want Louisville Safety to go to Dallas at 16...Right now it appears he will be gone maybe to Saint Louis at 13 or Pittsburgh at 15.

Steve Spurrier pretty much thrown Jadaveon Clowney under a bus:
"He was OK," Spurrier said on NFL Network, the implication being that Clowney didn't exactly wear out the alarm clock or tax the hinges on the weight-room door. "It wasn't like Marcus Lattimore, you know, every player is a little different. His work habits are pretty good, they're not quite like Lattimore, a Stephon Gilmore, Melvin Ingram, some of those guys, but when the ball is snapped he's got something no one else has."

Also, Mr. Bridgewater has gotten a lot bigger in the past 2 months:

RE: 2014 NFL Draft: Finding the Fits for top QB prospects
The sleeper pick that could go #1 Overall...will not slip past Saint Louis at #2:
The 2014 NFL Combine has barely begun and already the news is flowing.
While player work outs won't begin until Saturday for several of the underclassmen who scouts haven't yet officially measured, just weighing can create a positive buzz -- as was the case Thursday morning with the news that Auburn redshirt sophomore left tackle Greg Robinson came in at an impressive 6-foot05, 332 pounds, according to Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com. Robinson's long frame is even more considering he has 35-inch arms, longer than any player measured at the 2014 Senior Bowl.
The measurements are similar to those posted by former Alabama offensive tackle D.J. Fluker, who weighed in a year ago in Indianapolis at 6-5, 339 pounds and with even longer arms (36 3/4 inches). Fluker, who starred at right tackle for the Crimson Tide wound up being selected No. 11 overall by the San Diego Chargers. His length and power made Fluker effective for the Chargers with the rookie starting 15 of 16 regular season games and earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
Like Fluker, Robinson is a work in progress as a pass blocker but his massive size, strength and aggression make him a dominant run blocker. Robinson's boasts more upside than any other offensive lineman in the 2014 draft, which is why he has recently jumped ahead of the more polished Jake Matthews, who starred at left and right tackle over four starting seasons at Texas A&M.
