Rutgers and AAC reach tentative settlement deal
http://www.nj.com/education/2014/02/rutg...t_fee.html

Its slightly old news, but hadn't been discussed on here. Rutgers and the AAC have reached a tentative deal to settle the lawsuit. AAC won't disclose terms which leads me to believe its a favorable deal for Rutgers as expected.

Hey, Jimmy. How 'bout you agree not to talk to my boys for 10 years and we'll call it even.

Your pal,
Johnny

Brista, Tonight We played probably our last game in Basketball and I was hoping it would have been a good one but I wanted to wish You Guys the very best going forward and enjoyed the games We shared. I didn't want to post it on the AAC board as They can totally hijack a thread. I'm sure all of Us Cardinal fans wish you great success in Your new home.

CardFan, thanks for the kind words. Its unfortunate that we are all going our separate ways, but all the best in the ACC. I don't think any of them (Cuse, Pitt and ND excluded) realize how quickly you'll be at or near the top of the standings in damn well everything.

Unfortunately, this team finally has the right coaching staff but not the right horses to run the race. As Fast Eddie gets a team of his guys in there things will start looking up.

Litigation almost always gets ugly at some point, but lawsuits rarely go to trial. A settlement will happen but the sides need to beat each other up awhile before they can get in a settlin' mood.

I am ready for them to sit down and settle this. Tired of all this crap. Just get it done so we can focus on the future and not worry about the past. Hopefully (eventually) time will heal some of these wounds and we can play an ACC team OOC every once in a while.
