I wouldn't want to watch this every night but once in a while I enjoy something different.

Actually, Riley is having an excellent defensive game.

0 points (oops), 6 Rebs, 1 steal, 3 blocks...

Does any frontline player have any points????

Toledo/BG, up next on ESPN-U, might put up some big numbers.

I can't get the exact stats, but I think EMU has somewhere around 7 or 8 blocks for the 1st half.

Talley and Lee have 5 and 7, respectively, with 1 from the field. Ward has 4 with 2 from the field. Disgusting.

I honestly don't care if we win 29-28 at this point.

Need a win bad.

Yep, I missed Ward.

Harrison is our only one with more than 1 foul. Karrington and Glenn have 0. I hope to see GB3 come out at the start of the half here. We need to go inside for points.

I hate when giant centers try to take charges on 5'10 point guards. Glad they called a block on that.

Whoa a 5 point lead. Baskets on 3 straight possessions.

I love when we get the ball to Daylen at the free throw line. He's money from there, and if they close out on him, it either leaves Ward/Lee wide open for a 3 or gets Riley a bunny. Something we need to do more.

BTW, to ease Dennis' mind, if we need a backup PG next season, assuming it isn't Ross, Lee can play it, as a combo guard, and Combs can play SG.

Whenever Bolin gets the ball, I get nightmarish flashbacks of those threes he drained against us in the first-round of the MAC tourney in 2012. I hate looking at him.

NIU really gets after it defensively. I'm impressed.

Bad offense, BUT the defenses have been very good.

I think the bad offense has a lot to do with good defense. No one really appreciates it. NIU has some good, quick athletes who play their butts off. As do we. That doesn't bode well for offenses.

I don't like this. I've got a bad feeling NIU gives us a loss that really burns. Has Bryant gone in at all?

Treloff was absolutely eating us alive inside when Riley went out.

Will BobW get upset if I say Rileyndoes for us what Bill Russell did for the Celtics? 04-jawdrop

Not in the second half. Been Strickland for a while.
