Losers: Houston, North Texas(pencil them in for 2021), St. Louis, San Antonio

In addition, here's who I think will serve as the preliminary sites for the 2016-2018 tourneys:

Amway Center; Orlando(Stetson University)
Nationwide Arena; Columbus, OH(The Ohio State University)
Wells Fargo Arena; Des Moines, IA(Drake University)
American Airlines Center; Dallas(Southern Methodist University)
The Pit; Albuquerque(University of New Mexico)
Honda Center; Anaheim(Big West Conference)
East Regional:
TD Garden; Boston(Harvard University)
South Regional:
Bridgestone Arena; Nashville(Ohio Valley Conference)
Midwest Regional:
United Center; Chicago(Big Ten Conference)
West Regional:
SAP Center at San Jose(San Jose State University)

2018
2nd/3rd Rounds:
First Niagara Center; Buffalo(Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Canisius College and Niagara University)
Comcast Center; College Park, MD(University of Maryland)
Thompson-Bolling Arena; Knoxville, TN(University of Tennessee)
New Detroit Arena; Detroi(University of Detroit)*

In 2017, wouldn't New Orleans have to host a regional since you have them projected to host the 2018 Final Four?

Minnesota and Atlanta should be locks for both the final four and super bowl after they build the new stadiums.

Anyone who wants to mess around with this, for whatever reason, might want to start with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NCA...ent_venues

Ford Field should host a final in the next 4 years, it's one of the largest capacity stadiums seating over 70K. I believe Jerry World is the only one that is larger and Detroit is easier for most fans whose teams will make the tourney to get to than Dallas.

Didn't the NCAA say they may look at moving the final four back to a basketball sized venue?

If they make that decision, the list of potential host cities grows a lot larger.

I know San Antonio is back in contention as a F4 site (was not eligible for a few years due to capacity). San Antonio is one of the fans' favorite sites. I think they get one when the next batch is announced. Also, the Carrier Dome should get an 2nd/3rd round game regional. Tickets are not an issue and it is a basketball centric town with the games on campus.

Dallas is the easier city in the USA to fly to.

The NCAA is moving away from having the Final Four sites host a regional a year out, except in venues that have yet to host a Final Four, which is why New Orleans is not hosting a 2017 regional(the exception, obviously, is Indianapolis, which is mandated in the contract between the city and the NCAA).

If the rumored renovation to US Bank Arena in Cincinnati happens
that is a much better area and location to UD Arena. I think you could see some early round games there. The location is great, next to The Banks entertainment district and all of the hotels are within walking distance.

But the stadium is out in freaking Arlington. San Antonio is such a superior city to Dallas/Arlington for the tourist.

KC isn't hosting any 2014 or 2015 rounds. I'd guarantee they will get the 2nd/3rd rounds games in either 2016 or 2017.

I don't have anything to add, but pretty cool compilation of information in the OP. Thanks.

That dirty river flows green with Money...no comparision SA>>>>>Arlington.

Stay downtown, party on the Riverwalk, walk to the Alamodome, see the games, walk back and continue to party. Wash, rinse, repeat.
