More SNOW Monday
What does a grass lawn look like?
Anyone ready for some warm weather & sunshine? Around Kalamazoo maybe above freezing temps late this week after 100% chance of snow Monday.

Quote:* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 6 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED
BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS MONDAY EVENING/NIGHT. LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

RE: More SNOW Monday
Sounds like a weak storm compared to what we have had. It's gonna be real bad when it rains later this week though.

RE: More SNOW Monday
Pretty sure this is the longest consecutive stretch of snow-covered ground we've had down here since I moved to OH.

Like Nacho said, the rivers are gonna be interesting once it warms up and starts raining.

RE: More SNOW Monday
Spring has arrived here in Hilton Head, SC. It has been a brutal winter by Southern standards. Winter arrived in late Dec., and we had several frost delay mornings on the golf course, and higher than normal rainfall. Going to be 70 here by Wednesday. I sure don't miss the Michigan winters and feel empathy for all of you with the cold, dark, slushy months.

I moved into a new apartment last month (first looked at it in December). I've yet to actually see what the patio looks like under a pile of snow.

So much snow on my roof that we have water dripping in our front window. I need to get up there and shovel off the vents. Not good. Right now if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. 4 new tires on both cars last week. Dropped my phone and shattered the screen now the leaking window. This winter sucks.

A Roof rake is safer. Get the snow off the rood edges so it doesn't backup.

Also anyone with bath or kitchen vent fan that sends air to the attic area should not use them.

Great advice.

Spoke with my mom "up north" yesterday, they had a kid up there shoveling it was so deep.

I know. But we have close to four feet on the roof. Good advice on the air vents. If I fall off the roof the ground is four feet closer.

The next 3 days are supposed to be above freezing, with 40s and rain on Thursday. Come on roof, just a few more hours...

Snow day. So I got most of the snow off the roof with some kids help. It had to be 4 feet in some places. Going back up in the afternoon to do a little more. This winter has been crazy.

RE: More SNOW Monday
My wife will have to drive back for a day or two from our yearly Stony lake vacation because she has missed so many days. Unless some smart representative puts up a motion to forgive the snow days. I know some districts are well over 10 days and we only get 6 before we have to make up days. Back in the day we got married on june 14 thinking we would never have school that late in the year. WRONG.
