Houston played very well today
I have been impressed with Houston in both games play against UC this year. Today they played good offense and defense. UC is just one of those teams this year that is tough in the last 5 minutes of games.

UCONN knows firsthand...Houston's got the makings to join the top group.

Thanks for the comments guys. The talent is on hand for Houston to be a solid team. Dickey simply has no business coaching at the D1 level. He is in waaaaay over his head----especially in a conference like this.

Houston was very good. They got our A game today and they responded. They made many tough shots and made some plays on defense. The difference was our ability to get offensive rebounds.

You guys have some very athletic front line players. They seem to come from out of nowhere to block shots.

Houston is avery young team. They will be better next year. Good size and skill levels. Surprised in some respects that they have been able to recruit their current level of talent given their lack of any recent success in college hoops and their dreadful home game fan/attendance atmosphere.

If I could only equally reflect the same kind thoughts you all have, I can't, not now and probably not for while... We're in desperate need of a coach who must direct the good players we currently have and revive/change our basketball program, ASAP.

As I stated on our own board, I get the feeling that if Mick Cronin coached that Houston roster that it would be ranked, too.

Is he on the hot seat?

RE: Houston played very well today
There is no excuse for poor performance, but UH has a young team that has been plagued with injuries.

Since the end of November, four starters - sophomore guard Danuel House, sophomore point guard L.J. Rose , senior forward J.J. Richardson and senior guard Tione Womack - have missed 16 games. That group has combined to make 26 starts in 2013-14.

Hope for next season.

If he isn't, he should be. We need someone who's like a Brad Stevens or a Josh Pastner kind of coach: Someone who will be at the school for at least five years.

What we need is coach who can win now. Dickey was not a popular hire and the team has not performed well under his direction. He has lost the fans and students.

I know that the fan-base wants him gone immediately. Does your AD think he's the guy or has he shown any disapproval?
