They are still a good win. I feel bad for every team that has to play us back to back as we have two of he best home environments in the conference.

Losing to mt on the road isn't a bad loss. Mt has a pretty decent rpi, and it won't hurt usm to lose to them on the road. I'd love for usm to run the table after we beat them so make us look better, but that's not realistic..

One of The top teams in CUSA just got beat by 24 and 17

MTSU went 11-21 from downtown against Southern Miss. UAB went 11-23 against Southern Miss.

MTSU shot the lights out, just like UAB did Thursday night.

It appears MTSU's Shawn Jones had foul trouble and wasn't a big factor in the game. He is arguably their best player.

in his defense, he's right…if we win out, we are guaranteed not to get an NIT bid

MTSU made a 3-pointer 15 seconds into the game. They made a total of nine 3-pointers in the first half. Kerry Hammonds had five of the nine first half 3-pointers.

I wonder if Southern Miss has now lost all chances of an at-large bid to the Big Dance, and rendered C-USA as a one bid conference.

Yes. Without a doubt.

Their chances was sketchy before this week, but when you lose to two sub 100 teams by 24 and 17, no chance. Remember Lousville beat them by around 40
