What?
There was a 'travelling' call that got missed against uconn; was a clear violation.

RE: What?
Of all the questionable calls yesterday, this one was by far the worst. It wasn't even close. I understand that the home team will get the benefit of the doubt on close calls, but for the life of me I cannot understand how a basketball ref of any level could possibly miss this.

When there was about 3 minutes left in regulation, I told my wife that if this exact same game were played in the NCAA tourney, or any other neutral court, the Tigers would be up by 20 points.

Honestly after both games I think Memphis is the better team and it showed yesterday. It's amazing that we were in the game with a chance to win.

I agree that the Tigers looked like the better team yesterday. If the scoreboard was hidden and you were just going by the "eye test", the Tigers looked more cohesive than the Huskies. The transition baskets by the Tigers were beautiful and the Huskies didn't seem to have an answer for that style of play. Shabazz was a stud yesterday, though. If he didn't have a career game, then the Tigers would have won.

I really don't feel too bad about the loss. Sure it may hurt our seeding, but if we continue to play that style of ball, then we could make some noise in the tourney.

These type of games against quality opponents, whether its win or lose (losing going down with a fight) should help us come tourney time. We were down to LSU and OKst (when they were good) in Orlando and came back. Down to Louisville and Gonzaga and came back. We fought with FL to the last seconds and hanged in there with UConn despite the no calls. Yeah in between those games we didn't fight to the bitter in with Cincy or SMU but the key is to learn from it and adjust. Those predicting an early tiger exit, before we even know who we are playing is silly
