Great hockey game - USA beats Russia 3-2 in a shootout for the ages!!!!!

Just awesome. I was screaming at my TV when that went in.

haha that was an amazing game. got lucky with that net not being set!

That was a GREAT game... but the officials might have to be careful... Hate to see them just "disappear".

The 19 year old the USA used in the shoot out was awesome. I hope they play again for gold. Not quite 1980, but very fun game to watch.

Is this a clean win or is there controversy? I just may have to watch a hockey game now.

Russia would've won 3-2 but they had a goal that didn't count because the net wasn't set.

Is there a replay for NBCSN or NBC? I couldn't get up that early to watch and didn't have time to watch before I had errands all through the middle of the day.

Russia's whole Olympics seemed to be tied up in winning hockey gold.

Check NBCSN around 5pm (eastern). I think they have a "hockey game of the day" at that time.

when that happened w/o immediate understanding of the disallowed goal, that was the first thing that crossed my mind...also notice how we didn't get a shot of Putin after the winning shot went in.....smart thing by the production crew....they would be missed even less....

Would love to see C-USA D1 Hockey!!! I realize that it's never likely to happen, but how awesome would that be!

I'm sure NBC primetime will have replay or highlights tonight. This was a big win.

That was an awesome game! Fortunate call for us though late in the 3rd for that Russian goal to have been disallowed.

I believe he is insinuating that I would not have started the thread had USA loss which would be incorrect. It was a great game period. Regardless who won I would have started the thread.
