KSU is 10-9 Overall & 4-3 in the MAC headed into today/tomorrow's Dual Meets.

The question becomes, if Wheeler sits out today/tomorrow as well as Missouri & Edinoro dual meets next weekend, "is that enough of a suspension" for him to return to the MAC Tournament @ Kent OH 2 weeks later?

I'll probably jinx him but our heavyweight has started to win some big matches. Things are looking up in that weight class.

This was a great win by our grapplers. Marsh had the biggest win, but Lytle deserves mad props as well. Small with a pin and Mack with a major were also clutch. Miller still wins despite being rusty from the time off due to the injury. Even the 5 that lost deserve credit because they only gave up one major. The other four kept it close, especially Campbell filling in for Wheeler and Baxter only losing 7-3 to the #1 wrestler at 197. Beat the Suckeyes!

Anyone know why Buckhalter didn't go @ 165lbs for any of the 3 matches?

The Consolation Semifinals are CMU vs Virginia Tech and Illinois vs Oregon State. The Championship Semifinals are Minnesota vs Ohio State and Oklahoma vs Cornell.

I don't know per se, but I assume it's one or a combination of the following:

It's Keklak's senior year.
Buckwalter needs a break.
These matches mean little.

Or, perhaps Keklak is beating Buckwalter in the room and earned the spot in the starting line-up.
