Riley was a monster. Easily the player of the game. How many points did Toledo score inside? Not many that I can recall.

We forced turnovers, we made free throws, and we kept attacking. I couldn't ask for more.

UT's center, Boothe, had an extremely forgettable game. Complete non factor. Riley schooled him.

Chad just said 32 - 8 in the paint.

Toledo was deathly afraid of Riley. They were a complete non factor inside.

I'll check UT's treys, but they didn't get it don't inside the paint or even the arc.

No they weren't get real steve,.

Ah no, half the time he didn't even make it half court.

I don't think I've seen a worse interior game than what we saw from Toledo today...

That's true but I think it was just bad play on their side for the most that and we didn't lose our composure we let the game to us.

SIMS PLAYED EXCEPTIONALLY WELL - HE WILL BE A FACTOR DOWN THE STRETCH

GREAT GAME TODAY, THE D WAS AWESOME

RILEY WAS THE MVP BUT MOST OF THE TEAM PLAYED WELL - TALLEY, WARD, BRYANT, HARRISON

LEE WAS ERRATIC AND COOMBS WAS NO FACTOR

GO EAGLES

Dear Friends,
Being there was great. I think Eastern was quicker then Toledo, especially on defense, and to me, the only thing that kept Toledo close through most of the second half was their ability to make some three pointers. Eastern really kept Toledo at bay with their ability to make the free throws down the stretch sealed the deal. I would agree with others here that Riley had a great game. Haven't checked the box score, but I think he had eight points besides all the blocked shots.

8 rebounds 6 points 7blocks 3 fouls 5 turnovers, 2 turnovers 2 rebounds 2 blocks came in the last minute of play ,I really wonder at times if you Riley supporters even watch the game. About half the time he barely makes it to half court before the other side gets the ball. I just wonder how good he could be if he would run half as much as he walks.

I'm pretty sure "us Riley supporters" watched the game. I don't get your disdain for him. He was fantastic defensively today. Keyword: defensively. Stop listing points and turnovers. They don't involve defense. We all know he's weak on that end.

Not worth arguing though. You clearly watch a different game than everyone else does.

Save for NIU, who we haven't played yet, all the teams remaining on our schedule are teams we have beat by double digits already. A lot can happen in these last 6 games. We'll need some help, but a top 4 seed still isn't out of the question. It should be an exciting finish.

It's amazing to me how we can beat the best team in the MAC.... By 21.... And the central focus of the conversation is bickering about the way Da'Shonte Riley played....
I'm just going to enjoy the win and do everything I can to advance the thought: #WinOut

RE: GameDay: Toledo
Winning out isn't as unrealistic as it was a week or two ago. All the teams ahead of us have tough finishes too. Buffalo and Akron play twice, Ohio plays WMU again, Toledo and WMU, Buffalo and Ohio again...I could go on. Winning the conference is a massive long shot, but a top 4 seed is quite realistic. That would be huge.

Not everyone else just his overly over supports on here. Most of the people I've talked to that really watch the game and know how the game is played worry about his lack of head for the game.

Da'Shonte wishes Super would get the numbers right.

Where did the 5 turnovers come from? The box score says 2.

Cute, subtle dig there, even though you haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about.

His "lack of a head for the game" lead to 7 blocks (and many more altered shots) and The highest scoring team in our conference only mustering 8 points in the paint. But you find ways to whine and be a contrarian even after we blew out a 20-3 team. Congrats.

He also played 36 minutes, leading the team. That's a lot of burn for a big man.

Here is a post from the Toledo board: (He, their poster, gets it):

"RE: Toledo (21-3) @ Eastern Michigan (14-10) Game Thread

I'd say the zone itself isn't what killed UT's offense. It was the zone with a 7 FOOTER! He had a bunch of blocks, affected other shots, and there were many times that UT started to drive towards the basket and saw him and kicked it out. "
