If it makes you feel any better, the excitement of Andy Enfield's "Dunk City" hire has worn off at USC. They're 1-10 in the Pac 10.

And Ditman mows down two more to end the 8th. 12 batters faced, 7 Ks.

Anyone know why Sunday's game might be rescheduled to tomorrow?

There's number 8 for Ditman. Gets a swinging K on a 1-2 pitch. 1 on (BB), 1 down.

ZING! There's number 9! Ditman one out away from the Owls first win of 2014.

OWLS WIN! OWLS WIN! OWLS WIN!! 10-3!! Ditman strikes out the side three of his four innings, finishes with a career-high 10 Ks in 4.0 innings. WOW! I bet there are a few dancing banana Owls in the stands at Sunken Diamond. And that's #998 for the Owl King, Wayne Graham. Way to go, Rice!!

And now, everyone's favorite game: "What's Walt Thinking??" I'm gonna guess Walt's 3 game balls going to #1 Matt Ditman, #2 Skyler Ewing, #3 Jordan Stephens.

Looks like we found another pitcher. 10 Ks in 4 innings, with only one walk and two hits. He can in as a walkom catcher.

His Dad is VP of Housing and Dining at Rice.
