He is doing the same thing as the Koch's, ie. funding political causes, and candidates, he supports. But somehow, his Dark Money is OK.
Can you let him know about the Hagan race?
I'm convinced we're going to screw up NC. it's a flooded primary field, and even with the rules about runoffs, we could easily nominate the next todd akin. packed fields are unpredictable.
They are all pretty much Todd Akin types, some just more so that others. I'm hoping there is a nasty/costly/bitter primary, Tillis can't get 40% and it is followed by a nasty/costly/bitter runoff.

first of all, your perspective of the republican party is (and this is the politest term I can think of) retarded.
the 40% runoff rule may be our saving grace. whack job II won't get 40%. akin won in MO with 33 or 34%, and promptly held forth on his views of "legitimate rape". packed fields are just a problem.

Care to explain your republican state comment in the other thread?
Looks like you got your feelings hurt there, kiddo.

You are in Mississippi and I am in NC. I think I know more about NC politics than you do. Tillis is the frontrunner and he has most of the money. He will win the nomination. It is just a matter of whether he has to go through a runoff or not. Retarded isn't necessary. You could just say you disagree with me and leave it at that. It amazes me how often people feel the need to attack someone personally that they disagree with. So far today I've been called retarded and a motherfukker.

Every time you post, you confirm your ignorance and/or stupidity.
Thank you.
What's this, another personal attack? How can you attack people like this and then chastise them when they do it to you?

You don't know where I live. You know where I went to college. People travel here in the early 21st century.

So do you live in NC?

Americans for Prosperity Launches New Attack Ad on NC's Hagan
Way to go Koch Bros
Quote:The spot then cites how 473,000 North Carolina residents have lost their health coverage because of Obamacare — while many others have seen higher premiums and deductibles or have lost access to doctors because of the healthcare plan.
"Call Senator Hagan," the spot then says. "Tell her Obamacare is not the answer."
"It is disappointing to see Senator Hagan go on a far-left talk show to defend her decisive vote for a law that is causing canceled insurance plans, lost access to doctors, and higher costs," said Tim Phillips, the group's president, said of the new spot in a statement.
"Rather than continuing to play politics, Hagan should get real with North Carolina and admit that Obamacare is not the answer."
Americans for Prosperity, which was co-founded by billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch, has spent $8.2 million on TV, radio and Internet ads to try to defeat Hagan's re-election bid, according to news reports.
Hagan trails all of her potential Republican challengers in the latest survey by Public Policy Polling. The challengers are squaring off in a May 6 GOP primary.
Fifty percent of the state's voters disapprove of the job she's doing and her approval rating, 41 percent, closely mirrors Obamacare's approval in the state, which is at 38, the survey found.
Hagan's polling numbers began plunging four months ago, when ads tying her to Obamacare began airing across the state.

You live in NC, about 3 percent of the workforce is unionized. I don't think we have anything to worry about.
How do you feel about groups from outside the state like the Koch Brothers' Americans for Prosperity pumping tens of millions of dollars of "Dark Money" into the US Senate race in North Carolina? We don't know who the contributors (other than the Koch's) are and there is really very little regulation of their efforts to sway the election. The same holds true of money coming in on the other side, though it isn't nearly as much at this point. We don't know who these people are, what they expect, and how beholding the winning candidate will be to their interests at the expense of the interests of the actual citizens of N. C.
Here is the other thread about the big money donors.
