Lynch to receive Toughness Award
I don't have too many details but Jordan Lynch will be receiving the Mental Toughness Award from the Chicago Bears on Monday at Halas Hall. He won't be there because he is still training (I think in Indianapolis still) but his family will receive it on his behalf.

I've never heard of the Bears giving awards to college players and wasn't able to find anything about it. Anyone know anything about the award?

Here is all the information I could find related to this award. It also mentions J Lynch in the description...

That article also says Chandler and Kill will be in attendance.

Also...
"Harnish received the NFF Mental Toughness Award in 2012."

Yeah there is a Tribune article on Harnish and Persa from Northwestern winning it two years ago.

It's not an award from the Bears...it's being hosted by the Bears at their facility. It's an award from the NFF
