RE: Scores and standings after 2/13 games
The bright side...at least we should play well in the tournament since we'll have to go through the top half of the league to win it.

I'm not sure if you're saying that in jest or not, but that actually could play to our advantage. What games have we played best in this year? The ones against upper level talent.
I guess we will find out if they turned a corner once we play Tulane and Marshall.

If we can get that first day bye and then play good teams for rounds 2,3, and 4, we could win it all baby!!

That's what I love about basketball. If you just keep winning this time of year, you keep going. We have the tallent. They just need the confidence to keep building. This is the perfect time for the train to start rolling.

Yep, we can still make a run at this thing. Avoiding that first round game will be huge though. The good news is we have a very winnable game tomorrow. I know not to take anything for granted at this point, but we should beat Tulane at home. @Marshall and @Rice are two of the best road games we could have asked for before the season started. @Charlotte just depends on which Charlotte(and UAB) team shows up. The last two hosting LT and MTSU should be winnable at least, and I expect us to be ready for those two. I think it's really possible to finish 5-1 the rest of the way, which would get us to 9-7 in conference and 20-10 overall. I think even if we go 4-2 it might be enough to get us a bye.
Normally I would say we wouldn't want to finish 8 to avoid running into the 1 seed, but with this team, that might be exactly what we want. I really want to avoid UTEP at this point, as they are tough on their home court, and they may tire if we can somehow catch them later in the tournament. I think we have the pieces to make a run, we just need to focus on playing consistent ball these last 6 games.
