RE: Why CINCINNATI is not playing Central Florida
Why are people making a big deal out of this? We have never played UCF in football. They are not our rival, although they may eventually be one. Outside of them finishing first last season, I have no real interest in playing them - at least any more interest than any other AAC school.
If we have a good enough season, to win the division, we'll play them in the CCG. Outside of that, we are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Because they are in our conference now. We didnt play them this year with there being uneven amount of teams, but for a 2nd year in a row? .I think its pretty self explanatory why fans want this game with how weak the conference is. By not having what is said to be the 2 best teams in the conference not playing is a swing and a giant miss by the AAC. But I didnt know there was going to be a championship game for the AAC next year. Does that have to do with the new playoff system and us not being in an automatic qualifying league anymore? I dont think I heard about it. If there is going to be a championship, you are right, it isnt as big of a deal

I don't think we can have a championship game next year with 11 teams? Navy should make 12 in 2015. Then you could have one.

No championship game this season but I agree with everything you said. UC actually plays the two top teams for the conference title at home this year at home, ECU and Houston. I expect Cincinnati and UCF to compete for the championship but I don't think either one is a runaway favorite.

I don't believe the AAC has a conference championship game next season as we will only have 11 members. We need 12 to allow that to occur, which likely won't happen until Navy joins (Or whoever is being added in a couple years to get us to 12). Hopefully we are gone by then.
I was hoping we'd play them, but it probably makes it easier to emerge from the AAC unscathed and win the league.

It also makes it easier for UCF to win the AAC title without having to face us, like they did this year.

Because in a league that needs exposure the tops teams should play each. They certainly should not go two years in a row without it. Not sure there is a more attractive conference tv, or conference game to UC fans. It's a joke they don't play next year.

Sorry about that guys... There are so many teams coming in and out, that I lost count I was thinking we were at 12 already.
