UALR beats Creighton 5-1. They and Georgia State both collect nice wins for the Sun Belt to start the year.

Bobcats tie it up with Michigan 7-7 after 8.

That's a nice win for Texas State. Gives us two victories over Big 10 teams and one over a Big East squad to open the season.

Good 1st day so far for the Sun Belt. We open tomorrow vs. Georgia is Athens.DH tomorrow and single game Sunday. We beat them 2 of 3 last year in Statesboro. I would certainly take that in Athens.

Huge win for the Bobcats looks like good things to come this year.

I have no idea what to expect out of a decent MAC team in Miami this weekend. Brand new coaching staff and a lot of left handed hitters. I would expect and hope we do well, but they wont just give us the wins.
