RE: 2015 EMU Offers?
This will pick up after summer camps and CC and his staff have a chance to look at the players personally.

RE: 2015 EMU Offers?
I heard that WM leads the country with the most offers so far, and it is not even close. There are numerous kids that only have one firm offer so far, and it is from them. They will likely have 30 verbals again by October, then go through the mess of cutting players and keep working on new guys, ect.

CC could learn from what P.J. is doing:
1). Go after local (3 or 4 hour drive away) prospects very early,
2). Build momentum for the program,
3). As the prospects are within driving distance of K'zoo, have groups of recruits on campus as much as possible to 'bond'. These recruits text, visit, etc. etc. each other independent of any school activity.
These kids are 'best friends' before they signed the LOI and 'held' as a recruiting class.

Is there going to be a Junior day this month? Did they ever talk about areas the staff member will be assigned?

Stubblefield at the recent event and while he was still on EMU's staff said that he was assigned the bottom western side of the state along with Gary, IN and the Chicago area.
I'm sure areas of recruiting responsibilities have been assigned - Interesting, wonder who might have Florida, the PSL etc.

That is critical.
I assume the offers posted at the top of this thread were made by the former staff.
And yes, Junior Days are where things start to happen. This is where we are behind because of the coaching change AND the staff worked their butts off trying to complete the 2014 class (while other programs were doing their Junior Days).
I don't know when 'in school' visits are made. I assume the coaches starting soph or junior years visit the school, talk with the player, high school coaches, discuss grades, complete a recruiting questionnaire, etc. as well as get an indication of interest. (lot of leg work which needs to be done).
(I know a former co-worker's son who had a basketball 'in school' I think back in September or October. He is a SOPHOMORE. I'll check what the process was like next time I see him play.).

Has the new staff made any offers?
Are they planning to hold an EMU football camp this summer?
