Good night for the Lady Owls
Rice's women beat Tulsa tonight 75-59. It may have been our best game of the year. Kuster had 24 and 11 with 7 assists. Palmer had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Palmer was 8 and 9. We only had 10 turnovers and got a nice road win.

Really happy for the Coaches and team ! Porter had the 16/13. Biggest stat to me was the 10 turnovers. Kuster still in top 5 of the nation in rebounding and D/D. Only 35 points away from setting the season scoring record to go along with career mark. Broke Holly Jones career free throw mark with her 1st make tonight. She also had 3 blocks. All in all, great night for the ladies!

Glad to see the effort and the end to the 5-game losing streak (after the 3-1 start to the conference season). The final stretch of games isn't impossible so hopefully they'll go on a winning streak now.

Way to go Owls! This really tightens up the middle of the CUSA standings. Hope we can get some momentum.

RE: Good night for the Lady Owls
An Aggie friend sent me a text from Tulsa on Tuesday. He said the Owls were checking in to the same hotel he was in. I thanked him today for whatever he said to them. He said he thought it was the Doubletree breakfast buffet. He said they hit it hard.

Hey, whatever works!

The Doubletree does have an amazing breakfast buffet. Or at least they used to back when I was commuting to Tulsa to work on a regular basis. I assume from your friend's comment that they still do.
