RE: Fan ejection (UCF Game)
I have a good friend who got ejected from a game a couple of years ago, but can't remember if it was a Tiger or Griz game. Simply complained to one of the refs that the other team had 0 fouls called on them at that point in the game.

Perhaps its a different world now .. In my 7 seasons at D1, it was always personal preceeding a fan ejection.

romeo did not get tossed, he was re-seated in a box. I'm sure that won't make jim burr happy.

So if I can sneak in downstairs and raise all kinds of hell with the refs, I get to sit in an fancy box? Very cool 04-rock

No, you or I would probably wind up at 201. 03-lmfao

Maybe it is just me but I don't understand how a ref can toss a fan when last week it was said the Marcus Smart v fan incident was not the ref's jurisdiction.

No, if you donate and pay enough money to sit courtside...

Fan ejection (UCF Game)
By the way I control my language very well and intentionally, just my choice, but...

If you can get tossed for correcting officials, I could not make it through a game courtside.

Nothing wrong with telling the truth!

There's no way I'd make it sitting where that guy does. I try to watch my language as it is, but it slips every now and then. There is no way I could go thru a game without berating a ref, the other team, and sometimes our team (when they play like they did last night).

That's actually VERY good advertising for our University. Romeo didn't say anything really appalling, plus he's fairly young, plus he has courtside seats (which makes people assume - perhaps correctly - that Romeo is a wealthy person) AND on Romeo's LinkedIn page his education is 'University of Memphis'.

Not too bad!

To equate a fan calling a player a 'piece of crap' to a fan saying "3-seconds, Can't you count?" is a big stretch. Not sure where Romeo sits but that wasn't his regular seat. Mr. Larocca's wife usually sits there.

Big boy was campin' out in the paint all night. Maybe they should make it 4 seconds for a fat a$$.

Seven years ago, I got tossed from my son's 2nd grade YMCA game for yelling "Get in the game ref!" I think it was the most humiliating experience in my life. Not my finest moment, lol!

It took him several seconds to even get moving down there. For some reason 3 seconds is rarely called nowadays. Pretty good strategy to camp out in the lane until they actually do make a 3 second call.

Maybe he should wear Heelys to overcome the inertia.

neither does romeo, but he does bring the grizz/forum a lot of business by way of the casinos and he used to work @ the FEF. FEF wasn't about to piss him off and he probably new most of the security escorting him out by name anyway.

RE: Fan ejection (UCF Game)
Anybody remember that fan that got tossed in the Memphis vs Houston game in 2008 at the conference tournament here? Houston had a male cheerleader, but not your typical male cheerleader if you know what I mean. All the fan did was doing the wave to the cheerleader and he was immediately tossed with a load of security

Romeo's a good guy and loves the Tigers. He's a casino host at the Horseshoe casino. He didn't get tossed out of the building, he just moved up to the Harrah's suite. Horseshoe is owned by Caesars entertainment (Harrah's). And for the record, Jim Burr is an @sshat of the highest degree and one of the worse refs to ever put on the stripped shirt. Should have been booted out of the ref business a long time ago. I absolutely hate it when I see he's doing one of our games.
